Cape Town Southern Suburbs | Remote Position

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and self-motivated Property Practitioner to join Golden Key Real Estate Services and take responsibility for the management and growth of an established property portfolio in the Cape Town Southern Suburbs.

The role is primarily focused on managing existing properties, landlords, tenants and rental stock, while also requiring the successful candidate to actively canvas, prospect and develop new rental and sales stock.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in residential real estate, with solid experience in both rentals and sales.
• NQF Level 4 Real Estate qualification.
• PDE 4 completed.
• Relevant current PPRA registration/status.
• Proven experience managing rental properties and dealing directly with landlords and tenants.
• Strong knowledge of rental administration, leases and property inspections.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organisational and follow-up skills.
• Strong canvassing and prospecting ability.
• Good knowledge of the Cape Town Southern Suburbs property market.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence.
• Own smartphone.
• Own laptop/computer and reliable internet connection.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage an existing portfolio of rental properties.
• Manage landlord and tenant relationships and queries.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Manage lease renewals, expiries and tenant notices.
• Conduct or coordinate ingoing, outgoing and routine inspections.
• Market vacant rental properties.
• Arrange and conduct viewings.
• Manage rental applications and tenant screening.
• Assist with lease administration.
• Manage rental listings and new tenant placements.
• Assist with residential sales, listings, buyers and sellers.
• Regularly canvas and prospect for new rental and sales stock.
• Build relationships with property owners throughout the Southern Suburbs.
• Generate new mandates, referrals and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to clients.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We need an experienced practitioner who is self-managed, accountable and proactive.

You must be comfortable managing your own diary, working remotely, solving problems, following up without being reminded and taking responsibility for the properties and clients allocated to you.

This position would suit an established Property Practitioner who enjoys property management and rentals, but who also has the ability and motivation to generate new business.
