We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced Revenue Operations and CRM Systems professionals with deep expertise in SaaS operations, CRM ownership, revenue tooling, and operational process design to contribute to an advanced AI training and systems-alignment project.

Selected professionals will analyse complex revenue operations environments spanning CRM, billing, ticketing, automation, and related SaaS systems. The work focuses on identifying operational inconsistencies, resolving policy and data conflicts, documenting decision logic, and defining the correct handling of ambiguous or interconnected scenarios. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Revenue Systems Analysis

  • Analyse CRM, billing, ticketing, and related operational data across SaaS revenue workflows
  • Identify areas where system behaviour, operational logic, or business policies are misaligned
  • Review interconnected systems for inconsistencies, outdated configurations, and process gaps
  • Assess how changes in one system may affect downstream workflows and related platforms
  • Apply strong operational judgement when evaluating complex revenue-system behaviour

Policy Conflicts & Operational Logic

  • Surface and document conflicting policies, outdated automations, duplicate entities, and permissions mismatches
  • Identify ambiguous, undocumented, or inconsistently applied operational processes
  • Evaluate competing rules and determine appropriate handling for complex scenarios
  • Navigate grey areas involving renewals, entitlements, customer status, and related operational decisions
  • Document exceptions and edge cases that require additional judgement or clarification

Data Accuracy & Desired-State Design

  • Evaluate the desired state of underlying operational and revenue data
  • Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and logical conflicts across connected systems
  • Define appropriate corrections while preserving data integrity and operational continuity
  • Assess cascading impacts before recommending or applying changes
  • Support consistent reporting and reliable system behaviour through accurate data structures

Documentation & Operational Recommendations

  • Draft precise operational prompts, recommendations, and handling instructions for complex scenarios
  • Record the reasoning behind proposed changes, including areas intentionally left unchanged
  • Produce detailed written documentation suitable for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Explain operational trade-offs, policy interpretations, and system dependencies clearly
  • Help establish transparent and reproducible decision-making across revenue operations workflows

Ideal Profile

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in revenue operations, sales operations, customer success operations, SaaS implementation, onboarding, or a closely related discipline
  • Direct experience owning and configuring CRM systems rather than solely managing teams responsible for configuration
  • Practical experience configuring fields, workflows, validation rules, permissions, and related CRM functionality
  • Experience working with at least two adjacent SaaS revenue tools such as billing or subscription management, CPQ or quoting, ticketing or support, project tracking, or automation and integration platforms
  • Strong understanding of interconnected revenue systems and the impact of cascading operational changes
  • Experience within SaaS environments, particularly fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or other businesses with complex multi-product implementations, is advantageous
  • Strong ability to assess ambiguous policies, operational exceptions, and conflicting system rules
  • Comfortable documenting nuanced decisions involving renewals, entitlement changes, and other complex revenue processes
  • Strong attention to data accuracy, reporting integrity, and operational consistency
  • Professional English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate detailed operational reasoning and trade-offs clearly
  • No prior experience in AI research or model training is required

Engagement Details

  • Part-time independent contractor engagement
  • Fully remote
  • Compensation: $45–$90/hour
  • Work will involve CRM analysis, revenue-system alignment, policy interpretation, data-quality review, and operational documentation
  • Strong hands-on experience with SaaS systems and direct system ownership is important for this engagement
  • No prior experience in AI is required
  • Project scope, workload, timing, and duration may evolve depending on project requirements
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
