Job Description

As a Senior Java Developer at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Vietnam time), the rest is flexible. You will work on large-scale enterprise applications and solutions for global customers in the Supply Chain and Logistics domain.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining scalable Java applications, while collaborating closely with international customers and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong Java expertise, good problem-solving skills, and experience working with enterprise systems and modern cloud technologies.

This position may require overseas onsite assignments depending on project and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, asynchronous messaging, and enterprise system integrations.
• Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and international customers.
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java.
• Solid experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, XML, Hibernate, JSF, and JBoss environments.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience building and supporting large-scale microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, asynchronous messaging, and system integrations.
• Experience with Oracle Database and familiarity with Redis.
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and RDS.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.

Domain & Leadership

• Proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, or related domains.
• Experience leading technical teams or technical workstreams in complex projects.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly proactive and capable of driving initiatives independently.

Communication

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Comfortable working directly with international customers and leading technical discussions in English.
• Able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCM, WMS, TMS, or Logistics platforms.
• Experience working with global customers and distributed teams.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel or work onsite overseas when required.
