Remote | Spanish (Spain) Professional Voice Actor — $25/hour

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for Spanish (Spain) Professional Voice Actors and experienced audio professionals with native Castilian Spanish fluency, strong vocal delivery, precise script interpretation, and professional recording capabilities to contribute to an advanced AI training and audio-development project.

Selected professionals will produce high-quality Castilian Spanish voice recordings designed to improve advanced AI systems' ability to understand and generate audio. Professional voice-acting experience is highly valued but not required; relevant experience in music, television, podcasting, streaming, comedy, YouTube, radio, or comparable audio-focused fields is also welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

Castilian Spanish Voice Recording

• Record scripted Castilian Spanish audio with clear and natural delivery
• Maintain a neutral-to-upbeat customer-service voice where required
• Apply consistent pacing, articulation, and vocal quality across recordings
• Deliver authentic European Spanish pronunciation and intonation
• Maintain professional performance standards across repeated assignments

Script Accuracy & Interpretation

• Record transcripts accurately according to provided scripts
• Pay close attention to punctuation, commas, dashes, and sentence structure
• Adjust transcript formatting where permitted to support natural spoken pacing
• Preserve intended wording and contextual meaning throughout recordings
• Review completed takes for omissions, substitutions, or pronunciation errors

Audio Quality & Production

• Record using a professional-grade microphone and suitable home-studio environment
• Use appropriate soundproofing, audio interfaces, pop filters, and production tools
• Edit recordings to meet required technical and quality specifications
• Remove audible breathing and minimise unwanted background noise
• Maintain consistent recording quality across submitted files

Technical Formatting & Submission

• Deliver recordings in WAV, 44.1 kHz, mono format
• Maintain less than one second of silence at the beginning and end of each file
• Verify recording specifications before final submission
• Organise and submit completed files according to project instructions
• Support consistent production standards across ongoing audio workstreams

Project Quality & Collaboration

• Participate in an initial project kickoff call
• Follow recording guidelines and adapt to project feedback where required
• Communicate effectively in English with project stakeholders
• Maintain reliable delivery across flexible weekly assignments
• Contribute professional vocal judgement to AI audio-training workflows

Ideal Profile

• Native speaker of Castilian or European Spanish
• Born and raised in Spain
• Proficient English communication skills
• Professional voice-acting experience is highly preferred but not required
• Relevant speaking or audio experience through television, radio, music, podcasting, streaming, comedy, YouTube, or related fields is valuable
• Strong ability to deliver a neutral-to-upbeat customer-service voice
• Clear enunciation and consistent vocal pacing
• Strong command of natural Castilian Spanish pronunciation and rhythm
• Exceptional attention to script accuracy and punctuation
• Professional home recording setup with a high-quality microphone
• Access to appropriate soundproofing, an audio interface, pop filter, and audio-editing software
• Ability to produce clean recordings without audible breathing or distracting noise
• Comfortable following detailed audio-production specifications
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Engagement Details

• Independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Expected commitment: approximately 2–10 hours per week
• Displayed compensation: $25/hour
• Actual compensation structure: $250 per finished hour of submitted audio, based on the duration of completed audio
• Effective earnings may vary depending on recording, editing, and production time required to produce each finished hour
• Rolling start, with onboarding beginning after contract acceptance and successful ID verification
• Availability for a project kickoff call is required
• This opportunity is specifically for native Castilian Spanish speakers from Spain
• Work will involve Spanish voice recording, script interpretation, audio production, editing, and quality review
• Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise based on services rendered
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance
• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates cannot currently be supported
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
