Remote Territory Sales Manager - Military

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually This is a Remote position, but preferred locations are TX, VA, or Southern CA. What You’ll Do Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand adoption of the following: DESCO surface preparation tools (coating removal, rust/corrosion control, non-skid removal, surface profiling) primarily supporting Fleet and related maintenance needs; AIRCAT pneumatic tools into Fleet / motor pool environments; and JIFFY and Universal Tool specialty and performance pneumatic tools into aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul organizations Identify, contact, and build relationships with key decision-makers, including maintenance officers, supply officers, tool room / tool crib personnel, corrosion control teams, aviation maintenance personnel, and contracting/procurement staff Promote and demonstrate the relevant product lines, support product evaluations/trials, and address technical or application questions Support NSN and other military procurement channels for DESCO products while introducing AIRCAT, JIFFY, and Universal Tool solutions where they fit Fleet and Aviation requirements Work closely with internal teams on quoting, order support, and customer requirements specific to military channels Track opportunities, maintain accurate pipeline information, and report on market feedback and competitive landscape Represent the company at relevant military maintenance, supply, or industry events as appropriate Travel as required to bases, depots, hangars, and customer sites What We’re Looking For Retired U.S. military (Army or Marine preferred) at the rank of E-5 or above Understanding of military maintenance, supply, or logistics processes Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field sales role Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ as business needs dictate Experience in Fleet / motor pool maintenance, aviation maintenance, supply, or a maintenance office environment (Army or Marine Corps experience) preferred Familiarity with tool control, corrosion control programs, surface preparation equipment, or aviation MRO tooling preferred Prior experience in military sales, vendor representation, or defense contracting preferred Knowledge of NSN procurement, GSA, and/or DoD purchasing processes preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Group Term Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Voluntary Life Insurance Short and Long-Term Disability Annual bonus eligibility Merit increases eligibility Paid vacation and holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee referral program Employee discount program Rewards and recognition programs Professional growth, on-the-job training, and development programs A collaborative and supportive team environment The opportunity to work with quality industrial products used by customers around the world ...and much more!
