Role Description The Remote UI Designer will design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for web and digital products in a full-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day tasks include creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, defining design systems and style guides, and collaborating with product, development, and content teams to ensure cohesive user experiences. The role involves translating user and business requirements into clean, accessible UI designs, iterating on concepts based on feedback and usability findings, and ensuring consistency across platforms. The UI Designer will work closely with UX and front-end collaborators to optimize interfaces for usability, responsiveness, and performance.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Visual Design and User Interface Design skills, with the ability to create clean, modern, and accessible interfaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in Mockups and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Candidates should possess User Experience (UX) skills, including understanding user flows, information architecture, and usability best practices.
• Candidates should possess foundational Front-End Development awareness (e.g., HTML, CSS, design handoff practices) to ensure designs are feasible and implementation-ready.
• Relevant additional qualifications include strong communication and collaboration skills, experience working in remote or distributed teams, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A portfolio demonstrating UI and UX work for web or digital products, and prior experience in UI or product design, is highly beneficial.
