Removal Defense US Immigration Paralegal

About the Role:

• English and Turkish fluency is a must.

• Gozel Law Firm PC is an immigration law firm dedicated to providing exceptional service through technology and fostering meaningful communication. We are currently hiring a full-time immigration paralegal to assist our legal team in representing both businesses and individuals with their immigration needs.

Note: Candidates must be available to work according to the New York Time Zone (ET).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed client intake, including initial screening, phone calls, emails, and collection of information for attorney review.
• Prepare and complete necessary forms for submission to USCIS and other legal entities.
• Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading various legal documents such as briefs, letters, and filings.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support the legal team across multiple cases.
• Manage administrative tasks, including updating client files, records, and databases.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of removal defense experience in a US-based immigration law firm.
• Fluency in both English and Turkish, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Required: Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access and a computer.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
