We're looking for a reporter to join our Ipswich newsroom to cover stories from our community. You will be covering a 'district' area for the East Anglia Daily Times, while also contributing to our sister titles. Your reporting will be wide-ranging, including court cases and inquest hearings, to focus on the stories that matter most to readers. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the weekly editions of our newspapers covering stories across East Anglia. Work alongside an experienced team. Receive support to help you qualify as a senior reporter and progress within the company. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Be fast, first and accurate, working alongside like-minded digital reporters. Publish stories across social media and digital platforms while working on more in-depth stories in the background. Cover a range of topics and optimise content for social and search audiences. Work within IPSO regulations, as well as legal and ethical guidelines. Reporters should hold NCTJ qualifications , with shorthand being preferable, or possess an equivalent qualification. Please note that a driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to carry out this role.
