You'll Supporting Meaningful Work By:

  • Developing and executing a territory strategy for Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania, including growth priorities, target accounts, and a disciplined sales pipeline.
  • Driving revenue across Designtex textiles, wallcoverings, custom print solutions, and 3M surface films by expanding existing accounts and developing new business.
  • Building strong relationships with A&D firms, end users, dealers, contractors, and other commercial partners to influence specifications and create long-term demand.
  • Managing opportunities from initial concept through specification and order by coordinating samples, pricing, product availability, custom development, technical questions, and project follow-up.
  • Maintaining a strong market presence through 4–5 client meetings per day, including product presentations, library updates, project reviews, and follow-up with key accounts.
  • Collaborating with the Regional Sales Director, customer service, sampling, marketing, product, and technical teams to resolve issues, share market intelligence, and advance growth opportunities.
  • Managing the territory independently by planning travel and client visits, maintaining accurate CRM records, updating forecasts and opportunities, and completing timely follow-up.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer‑facing sales role, ideally within commercial design, contract furniture, real estate, textiles, wallcoverings, or related finish materials.
  • Experience selling to or partnering with A&D firms, end users, or dealers, with familiarity navigating complex influencer networks.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial sales cycle and the decision‑making dynamics within the architectural and design community.
  • Ability to manage a territory with autonomy, including scheduling, travel, and daily client engagement.
  • Demonstrated self‑starter with strong presentation and communication skills, comfortable representing products in high‑visibility markets.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in textiles, wallcoverings, finishes, or materials aligned with the Designtex portfolio, especially within the Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania commercial design markets.
  • Established relationships within the A&D community or demonstrated ability to build strong networks in high‑density design markets.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate, contract furniture, or adjacent industries involving complex sales cycles.
  • Ability to tailor presentations for varied audiences, including A&D firms, end users, and dealer partners across multiple states.
  • Experience managing a high‑volume schedule in fast‑paced territories
  • Strong organizational skills for managing customer libraries, samples, and product resources across geographically diverse accounts.
