Requirements Engineer
MatritelMid-Senior Requirements Engineers – 2 Open Roles | Banking Client
Our partner company, active in the banking sector, is scaling up its requirements engineering capacity and is looking to bring on two Requirements Engineers, each supporting a different part of the technology landscape.
Common framework conditions
- Location: Remote, with occasional on-site presence at the Budapest office
- Methodology: Agile/Scrum
Role 1 — Lending Platform (German required)
- Focus: requirements engineering across the full software lifecycle for a lending/financing platform, from ideation through production deployment
- You'll translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specs, support backlog refinement with the Product Owner, and work hands-in-hand with developers
- Requires: 5+ years as a Requirements Engineer/Business Analyst/System Analyst, banking/financial services background, solid SQL and API/data-model understanding, fluent German plus good English
- Contract period: 1 year approximately (extension possible)
- Nice to have: lending/loan origination experience, Camunda or similar process modeling tools, Jira/Confluence
Role 2 — Data Warehouse (English required, German a plus)
- Focus: requirements engineering within a DWH environment — working closely with data, databases and stakeholders across technical and business sides
- Requires: hands-on database experience, strong SQL skills, a genuine affinity for working with data, and an analytical, solution-driven mindset; banking domain knowledge is preferred but not required — willingness to learn it is enough
- You'll need to get up to speed quickly on new, complex topics, and be comfortable finding common ground between differing stakeholder requirements
- Contract period: 1,5 year approximately
- Nice to have: German language skills
Both roles suit senior or mid-senior, self-driven professionals who can operate independently and become productive fast. If either sounds like a fit, get in touch and we'll share the details.
