Research Analyst, Warsaw

Joining our Warsaw team, you will contribute to the company’s work by developing analyses and conveying insights to enhance clients’ decision making. This means forming hypotheses, conducting analyses, modelling and explaining power markets, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations. In doing so, you will help to guide utilities, investors, and the government through the fundamental transition of the Polish, Czech and Slovak power markets, facing a rapid move away from coal towards renewables and batteries. There will be opportunities to present your results in meetings and workshops. The successful applicant will combine strong quantitative ability with a track record of performance in team-oriented environments. You will work in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating, yet supportive environment. Warsaw is a gateway for Aurora to various European markets, offering exciting opportunities to work on international projects, particularly in Central Eastern Europe, primarily focused on Poland and with some exposure to Czechia and Slovakia. The position suits a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme or a person with hands-on experience within the energy sector, consulting or research. The exact entry position will be dependent on experience and educational level.
