Part-time 7 hours per week (0.2 FTE), 12-month fixed-term position. Based at Macarthur Clinical School (Campbelltown Hospital) with flexible working arrangements. Salary: Academic Level B $25,035.40 – $29,562 per annum, plus 17% Super & Leave Loading ( pro-rata based on 0.2 FTE ). Undertake diabetes in pregnancy research and translate study findings into practical clinical and public health applications. The Opportunity The School of Medicine is seeking a Research Fellow to undertake independent and collaborative research within the Diabetes in Pregnancy Research Programs. Your work will contribute to the design, delivery, analysis and reporting of research focused on diabetes prevention, management and translational health outcomes. You will coordinate activities across concurrent studies, including research protocols, ethics applications, data collection tools, project documentation and digital research platforms. You will analyse and interpret research data, prepare scholarly publications and conference presentations, and contribute to partnership submissions and competitive funding applications. Working with academic, clinical, government, community and research partners, you will help translate findings into practical clinical, digital and public health applications. You will also guide junior researchers and students while maintaining high standards of research integrity, ethics, governance, safety and data management. What Success Looks Like: Deliver independent and collaborative research studies to agreed milestones. Produce high-quality publications, presentations, reports and scholarly outputs. Coordinate research documentation, data management and stakeholder reporting. Contribute to ethics applications, partnership proposals and funding submissions. Translate research findings into relevant clinical and public health applications. Please refer to the Position Description for full details. About You You are a collaborative researcher with a passion for improving health outcomes through high-quality research. You will bring: A relevant PhD in medicine, endocrinology or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications and research experience. Demonstrated experience in diabetes or endocrinology research, preferably diabetes in pregnancy research. Experience conducting independent and collaborative clinical, translational or public health research. Sound knowledge of research methods, data analysis, ethics, governance and regulatory requirements.
