You'll be a part of our Knowledge & Practice Services (KPS) team based in Sydney. In your role as a Research Librarian, you will deliver a high‑quality legal and business research service, ensuring lawyers are kept up to date with all relevant legal developments and business insights for their practice groups and clients. As a Research Librarian in our KPS team you will: Deliver high quality legal and business research to support lawyers across the firm. Work closely with lawyers to provide expert research and current awareness support. Develop and deliver training sessions to build research capability. Maintain and promote knowledge resources, tools and research platforms to maximise their value and usage. Manage the library collection. Contribute to firmwide knowledge projects and innovation initiatives that improve access to information and support efficient legal service delivery. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you. About you You will have: A strong understanding of legal information sources, databases and research methodologies. A minimum of three years' experience in a research role in a law library or professional services environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Eligibility for membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
