Research Officer - Patient Services Join our Patient Services team and deliver patient-focused qualitative research, exploring patient experiences and needs to improve services, support and care pathways across cellular therapy. Join our team We are Anthony Nolan. We unite people and science – matching stem cell donors to those in need of transplants and treatments and growing our world-leading stem cell register, so everyone can find the lifesaving match they need. Thanks to Shirley and Anthony Nolan, our register of almost a million potential donors, our cell and gene therapy research and our expertise in stem cell transplants, we currently help four patients a day in need of a transplant, giving more people another chance to live. Driven by patients, backed by stem cell donors, and powered by science, we won’t stop until we’ve unlocked the cures, treatments and transplants that will transform the future for more patients. And together, we can reach the remarkable day where every patient who needs us can not only survive, but thrive. If you're inspired by this vision, and feel you have the skills and experience we need to help achieve it, we'd love you to join our lifesaving team. As a Research Officer, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across Anthony Nolan, patients and their families, transplant centre clinicians, and the wider cell therapy community. You will support the design and delivery of key research studies, exploring how patient experiences and wider social determinants of health influence recovery, wellbeing and long-term survivorship. Through the generation of robust evidence on patient outcomes and experiences, you will contribute to improving future patient services, care pathways, and support for individuals undergoing cellular therapy. Essential attributes A postgraduate qualification (MSc or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, such as health psychology, behavioural science, sociology or public health, with a PhD in a relevant field desirable. Demonstrated experience designing and conducting qualitative research, including interviews and focus groups, ideally within health or patient-focused research.
