A UK retail bank needs a Solution Architect for a TUPE employee migration across its SAP HR estate.

This is an architecture ownership role, not a documentation one. You'll assess the as-is HR and payroll landscape, design the to-be state, and take your own HLDs through the design authority.

The work:

• Own the solution architecture for the migration, producing HLDs to the bank's standards
• Define end-to-end process flows, integrations, data flows and operating model impacts
• Work with business, technology, security, risk and vendor stakeholders to validate design assumptions
• Present options, recommendations and roadmaps to design authority and governance forums
• Maintain architecture documentation in Confluence

What you'll need:

• SAP HR architecture experience — SAP HCM on-premise and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Payroll
• Demonstrable TUPE delivery: designing for an employee population transferring between payroll systems and legal entities
• UK payroll and HR domain depth — continuous service dates, YTD and RTI treatment for mid-tax-year transfers, protected terms and conditions, pension and auto-enrolment impacts
• Experience taking solution designs through architecture governance in a regulated environment
• Prior UK banking or building society integration, separation or carve-out programmes are useful but not essential.
