Click here to read the PSG Global Solutions Candidate Privacy Notice Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Residential Accountant to join our team on a project-based engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the general ledger accounting for a portfolio of affordable multifamily apartment communities, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting audit activities. Key Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger for a portfolio of affordable multifamily apartment communities. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Reconcile reserve and escrow account balances. Support financial audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries in a timely manner. Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, scanning, filing, and document management. Provide support for additional accounting and finance functions as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. Experience Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including account reconciliations and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate functions such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF. Experience using Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications is preferred. Required Skills and Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
