The company is committed to providing clear, reliable guidance to homeowners, buyers, and property professionals seeking accurate assessments of their properties. Role Description The Residential Surveyor is a full-time role responsible for carrying out building surveys, RICS home surveys, and residential property valuations across the Tyneside area. Day-to-day tasks include visiting properties, inspecting structural and condition-related aspects, preparing clear and accurate survey reports, and advising clients on findings and potential risks. The role involves liaising with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders, answering technical questions, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and professional conduct. This is a hybrid role, based in the Tyneside area, with a balance of on-site inspections and some work-from-home time for report writing, research, and administrative tasks. The Residential Surveyor will also contribute to improving internal processes, maintaining compliance with relevant standards, and supporting the growth of Survey North Limited’s residential services.
