As a Respiratory Therapist at Aveanna, you’ll play a vital role in our Respiratory Care Department, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting. You’ll serve as both a clinical expert and a trusted partner to patients and their families—assessing needs, providing education, and supporting long-term respiratory health with compassion and professionalism.

A Day in the Life:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment and management of home respiratory patients• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory equipment and treatment plans• Manage and support respiratory therapies such as oxygen, PAP devices, nebulizers, inhalers, and mechanical ventilation• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with the care team• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and services• Review and follow physician orders to ensure proper treatment and device settings• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, company, and accrediting agency standards• Respond to patient and customer service concerns with professionalism and empathy• Collaborate with internal teams to support patient onboarding and ongoing care

Position Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care (required)• Minimum of 1 year of in-home DME experience (preferred)• RRT credential (preferred)
