About United Medical

United Medical is a durable medical equipment supplier focused on compression therapy and
post-mastectomy care. We provide compression garments and pneumatic compression pumps for patients
managing lymphedema and venous conditions, along with mastectomy bras and external breast
prostheses for breast cancer survivors. Our patients rely on these products every day, and timely
replacement directly affects their health, comfort, and confidence.

Position Overview

The Resupply Manager will build United Medical's resupply program from the ground up. This person will
design the process, hire and lead a new resupply team, and make sure every eligible patient receives
replacement supplies on schedule.
The role has three priorities: streamline how resupply orders move from eligibility to delivery, capture
resupply opportunities we are currently missing, and grow recurring revenue as a result. The manager will
use NikoHealth as the backbone of the program, configuring workflows, schedules, and reporting to run
resupply at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Program build and process design

• Design and document United Medical's end-to-end resupply workflow, from eligibility tracking and
patient outreach to order confirmation, documentation, billing handoff, and delivery.
• Configure NikoHealth resupply schedules, work queues, automated patient outreach, and reporting for
each product line.
• Build replacement schedules for compression garments, pneumatic compression pump supplies,
mastectomy bras, and external breast prostheses based on payer rules.
• Write standard operating procedures, call scripts, and training materials for the resupply team.

Team building and leadership

• Define the team structure, roles, and staffing plan needed to support resupply volume.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train resupply staff in partnership with the Director of Operations.
• Set individual and team goals, monitor productivity, and coach staff in a remote environment.

Revenue capture and growth

• Audit the current patient base to identify patients eligible for resupply who are not being contacted or
reordered.
• Recover missed resupply opportunities and reduce lapsed patients.
• Improve patient reorder rates through proactive outreach, reminders, and follow-up.
• Identify new resupply opportunities across product lines and payers.

Compliance and documentation

• Ensure every resupply order meets Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements, including
replacement frequency limits, prescriptions, medical necessity documentation, and proof of delivery.
• Stay current on coverage rules, including the Lymphedema Treatment Act compression garment
benefit.
• Coordinate with intake, billing, and fitting staff to prevent denials and resolve documentation gaps.
• Protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA.

Reporting

• Track and report resupply KPIs to the Director of Operations, including eligible patients, contact rate,
reorder rate, revenue, and denial rate.
• Recommend process and staffing changes based on performance data.

Qualifications

Required
• 3+ years of experience in DME resupply, order intake, or DME operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Working knowledge of Medicare DME documentation, replacement frequency, and proof-of-delivery
requirements.
• Experience building or significantly improving a workflow, team, or program.
• Strong data skills, including tracking KPIs and using reports to drive decisions.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a remote team.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA.
Preferred
• Hands-on experience with NikoHealth.
• Experience with compression therapy, lymphedema products, or post-mastectomy products.
• Familiarity with the Lymphedema Treatment Act and Medicare coverage for compression garments.
• Experience with commercial payer and Medicaid resupply requirements.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
