Position: Retail Data SME

Location: Remote – USA

Priority: High – Urgent client requirement with executive-level visibility

Key Responsibilities

Act as a Retail Data Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance on retail data, analytics, and reporting initiatives.

Work with business and technology teams to understand retail data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

Provide expertise across areas such as Customer, Product, Sales, Inventory, Pricing, Promotions, Store, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and Loyalty data.

Work with Google Cloud / GCP technologies to support enterprise data and analytics solutions.

Develop, enhance, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and executive-level analytics.

Analyze complex data and provide meaningful insights aligned with retail business objectives.

Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, BI, and business teams.

Support data modeling, integration, data quality, governance, and modernization initiatives.

Communicate effectively with senior and executive-level stakeholders.

Required Skills

25+ years of IT/Data experience

Strong Retail Data domain expertise

Extensive experience with Google Cloud / GCP

Strong Power BI experience, including dashboards, reporting, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling

Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, data warehousing, and analytics

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Ability to operate as a senior-level SME and work independently
