Find your role

As a Central Online Operations Coordinator at Asda Home Office, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the support plan for our retail and field teams and supporting the central online activity plan as well as our BAU activities. You will be responsible for ensuring retail-facing activity is planned and delivered and that stores receive the right information at the right time. A key part of your role will be the end-to-end coordination of our equipment portfolio, store communication and helping stores with mapping queries. Supporting our mission to drive exceptional customer service and efficient store operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute retail communications, ensuring the messaging is clear, concise, and relevant for store teams
  • Coordinate reactive communications by working cross-functionally with other key teams
  • Coordinate our tote swap programme end to end including planning and weekly BAU activities
  • Support the management of all map queries and event mapping activities like store refreshes, promotions and Seasonal periods
  • Responsible for monitoring and identifying process opportunities in online and creating updates to the process to optimise.
  • You will also be responsible for coordinating process and other content updates in our Asda One intranet site
  • Coordination of our daily ticket system, making sure we respond to store queries within the agreed SLA (service level agreement)
  • Coordinate, timely payments to our supplier base along with any support and communication required to maintain our relationship.

You’ll have the following:

  • Proven experience in retail preferably for a large organisation
  • Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise under pressure
  • Flexibility to respond quickly to urgent operational needs and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with particular focus on Excel, and experience with communication platforms or software is desirable
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and communication across all levels of the organisation
