Description Position at PRN Physical Therapy Job Title Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands is seeking to recruit & hire a Revenue Cycle Management Supervisor . Retention Bonus Offered: $1500 paid in two installments within first 12 months. Must reside in these following states: AZ, AR, FL, ID, IL, IA, KY, MI, MN, MO, MT, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, VA. About the Role The Revenue Cycle Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing insurance and medical accounts receivable. This position has supervisory responsibility and provides input for recruitment, hiring, retention, performance development, performance management, teammate relations, and salary adjustment efforts for their team. This position manages an assigned team of Medical Account Receivable Representatives. They will be responsible for holding their assigned team accountable for meeting deadlines and working towards company goals. They will work in cooperation with all other clinic departments and the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle. Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and manage a team of Medical Account Receivable Representatives. Manage revenue cycle processes including but not limited to: accounts receivables, denials management, credits, and insurance follow up. Monitor staff efficiency through audit processes. Approve adjustments as per company policy. Work collaboratively with other departments, including operations and managed care, to improve reimbursement process and results. Maximize revenue through strong collection processes. Maximize and monitor cash flow with strong DSO. Review daily, weekly, and monthly key metrics to identify trends or areas of focus Participate in the design, implementation, and management of process improvements to improve revenue cycle performance. Establish and communicate impactful team goals and build/enact plans to achieve success. Supervise, train, mentor, motivate, orientate and evaluate performance of teammates. Recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Work with others to develop, document, and implement action plans, as appropriate, to address issues and ensure claims are submitted and paid in a timely manner. Serve as department subject matter expert for assigned teams providing the appropriate tools, supplies, job aids, and system access needed to meet production standards. Maintain confidentiality of all patients, teammates, and company information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and policies. Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of billing and collections experience with major payers. 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in medical receivables preferred. Prior Physical Therapy claims knowledge and experience with insurance systems preferred. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, workers’ compensation, HIPAA, electronic billing, clearinghouses, CPT and ICD 10 coding, EOBs, and medical terminology. Understanding of Revenue Cycle processes and mandatory billing/coding requirements. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality. Proven ability to supervise, train, coach, and manage team performance while fostering a cooperative work environment. Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and ability to grasp new concepts quickly. Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and relationship building skills. Self starter with strong initiative, follow through, and ability to plan and implement goals.
