JOB SUMMARY:

The Revenue Intelligence Senior Analyst provides the performance analysis and reporting that informs revenue decision-making across the Core brand portfolio of approximately 5,500 hotels, including the approximately 2,000 hotels enrolled in the Revenue Optimization Consulting Services program. Working at brand, region, and market level, the analyst identifies where performance opportunity exists, measures the impact of revenue initiatives once deployed, and provides internal stakeholders with the analysis and context they need to set direction and prioritize action. The role also advances the team's use of artificial intelligence and automation, designing workflows and building reusable tools that increase analytical capacity and operational efficiency. Operating independently and with minimal supervision, the analyst translates complex data from multiple sources into concise output that supports a clear performance narrative and a defined set of actions. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.

Note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own recurring performance reporting — Determine which metrics, comparisons, and time horizons best answer the questions stakeholders are working on, and deliver reporting on market share index, revenue per available room, channel contribution, and segment and business mix in formats that lead with the finding rather than the data.

  • Analyze performance at brand, region, and market level to identify where opportunity exists — Evaluate demand patterns, event impact, channel behavior, and segment mix to determine which trends represent addressable revenue opportunity and which reflect market conditions. Provide internal stakeholders with the analysis, context, and observations they need to set direction and prioritize where to focus.

  • Design and maintain automated reporting and analysis workflows — Apply artificial intelligence and automation tools so that recurring analysis is produced reliably and at scale rather than assembled manually, and continuously identify processes suited to automation and rebuild them accordingly.

  • Measure and report the impact of revenue initiatives — Establish how success is defined, track performance against it across the relevant brand, region, or market scope, and determine whether observed improvement is attributable to the initiative or to broader market movement.

  • Advance the team's artificial intelligence capability — Evaluate tools and techniques, build and document reusable solutions, and enable colleagues to apply them independently in their own work.

  • Translate analysis into a clear performance narrative — Produce concise output for audiences ranging from working teams to senior leadership that connects what the data shows to what should be done about it.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Employment Experience

  • Four years of experience in performance analysis, business intelligence, revenue management, or a comparable analytical function.

  • Demonstrated experience working with large data sets, reconciling data from multiple sources, identifying trends, and producing analysis that stakeholders act on.

  • Experience automating analytical or reporting processes, with measurable improvement in cycle time, accuracy, or capacity.

  • Experience operating independently with minimal supervision, including setting analytical approach and managing competing priorities across stakeholders.

  • Experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or travel industry distribution preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, large data sets, and structured modelling.

  • Proficiency in Tableau, including building and maintaining dashboards and reporting views for varied audiences.

  • Working proficiency in SQL, with the ability to query and combine data from multiple sources independently.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply generative artificial intelligence tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to automate analytical and reporting workflows, including designing prompts and repeatable processes rather than ad hoc use.

  • Experience with hospitality performance data sources, including STR and comparable market share, demand, and channel intelligence platforms.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to build clear, executive-ready output.

  • Preferred: Python or comparable scripting for data manipulation and automation.

  • Preferred: familiarity with cloud data warehouse environments and enterprise reporting architecture.

Additional Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical judgment — Distinguishes signal from noise, determines which findings warrant attention, and forms defensible conclusions from incomplete or imperfect data.

  • Communication and data storytelling — Translates complex analysis into concise, clear output tailored to audiences ranging from working teams to senior leadership.

  • Influence without authority — Builds credibility with stakeholders who do not report to the role and equips them to act on analysis in their own decision-making.

  • Process orientation — Identifies work suited to automation, designs repeatable solutions, and documents them so others can use and maintain them.

  • Adaptability and curiosity — Operates comfortably as priorities shift, and actively seeks out emerging tools and techniques to improve how analysis is delivered.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
