At Stayforlong, travel is more than a transaction; it's a journey of extraordinary moments. Born in Barcelona in 2015, we set out to disrupt an industry dominated by massive corporations. We believe in the power of prolonged stays — the longer you stay, the deeper the connection, and the better the rate. Travel on your own terms.
🫰Our Culture of Belonging
We are a team of 120 people in a dynamic, collaborative environment where every idea counts. We are inclusive by design, committed to equity and diversity, and serious about real work-life balance.
Above all, we work by five cultural principles:
- Ownership: We own our commitments, decisions, results and impact.
- Trust: We create safety to speak openly, ask for help and share context.
- Respect: We listen, prepare for the meeting, stay present and communicate with respect.
- Give & receive feedback: We say things early, directly and constructively — and we welcome feedback, adjusting our actions and behaviour in response.
- Play / Fail / Learn: We experiment, learn fast, pivot when needed and celebrate the learnings.
🚀 Job Purpose
You will join the Revenue team and take ownership of driving revenue and margin performance across markets, channels and segments — moving beyond analysis into decisive, measurable action.
Your mission is to transform data into business insight, insight into strategy, and strategy into results: diagnosing performance shifts, forming hypotheses, defining the right course of action, mobilising the relevant stakeholders and following through until the impact is measured.
As the business grows, you will also help raise the bar on how Revenue Strategy operates at Stayforlong — challenging the status quo, improving how we prioritise opportunities across markets and channels, and building a more proactive, outcome-driven way of working.
Ultimately, your mission is to help Stayforlong maximise revenue and margin performance while building the strategic muscle to anticipate market changes, not just react to them.
Ways of working
- Daily: monitor KPI dashboards (CPC, CPA, ROAS, margin, performance by market/channel) and flag anomalies proactively.
- Weekly: review performance and strategy progress with the Revenue and Marketing teams.
- Monthly: define and present the revenue strategy for the upcoming period (markets/origins to prioritise, actions, owners, KPIs).
- Quarterly: contribute to Revenue Strategy planning and prioritisation.
- Cross-functional: regular syncs with Distribution, Marketing, Markets and Product/CX to align on opportunities and remove blockers.
✨ Who You Are
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Performance Marketing, Distribution, or a related commercial/analytical role, ideally within travel, e-commerce, or another fast-paced digital business.
- Demonstrated track record of ownership over business outcomes, not just delivering analysis — for example, identifying a problem, proposing a strategy, mobilising stakeholders and following through to results.
- Solid experience operating as a Senior Individual Contributor, with the ambition and potential to grow into a Revenue Strategy leadership role.
Technical Skills
- Good analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and BI tools (e.g. Looker).
- Solid understanding of revenue, margin and unit-economics KPIs (CPC, CPA, ROAS, marginal contribution).
- Hands-on experience with metasearch platforms (Google Hotel Ads, Trivago, Kayak, TripAdvisor, Skyscanner).
Soft Skills
- Business acumen — connects data to business impact, not just to root causes.
- Strategic thinking — builds hypotheses, priorities and structured plans, not only analysis.
- Proactivity and initiative — surfaces issues and proposes action without waiting to be asked.
- Ownership — takes responsibility for outcomes end-to-end.
- Sense of urgency — reacts decisively when performance deteriorates.
- Communication and influence — mobilises stakeholders across teams and gets things done without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and challenging the status quo.
