We are growing, and an exciting opportunity has opened up for a talented Revit Modeller to join our team at OutlinePlus.

A Different Approach to Architecture

OutlinePlus specialises in 3D LiDAR laser scanning, producing accurate Revit models and architectural drawings of existing buildings across South Africa and internationally.

Unlike traditional architectural practice, where you might spend months or years developing a single design, our work involves a wide variety of real, functioning buildings, often with relatively short project timelines.

Every building presents different challenges, and our work helps clients better understand, manage and adapt their properties, contributing to the continued use and sustainability of existing buildings.

We are a small, close-knit team that values quality, independent thinking, good communication, mutual respect and enjoying what we do.

What You Will Be Doing

• Creating accurate 3D Revit models of existing buildings and producing associated 2D annotated drawings.
• Learning to work with 3D laser scan point clouds.
• Setting up and organising Revit projects correctly and efficiently.
• Applying sound modelling judgement and finding practical solutions to different building and modelling challenges.
• Managing your own workload and delivering quality work within agreed timeframes.
• Collaborating with our team on a diverse range of local and international projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong, demonstrable Revit skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the software.
• Professional experience producing architectural Revit models.
• A good understanding of building construction and how buildings are put together.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems efficiently.
• Good time management, attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

An architectural or technical qualification is advantageous, but your Revit ability matters more than your qualifications or years of experience.

Previous point cloud experience is not required. We will provide training in our Scan-to-Revit workflows, although applicants must already be proficient in Revit.

Applicants must be based in South Africa.

Remuneration

Salary will be based on demonstrated Revit proficiency, technical ability and experience. We will discuss remuneration expectations early in the recruitment process to ensure we are aligned from the outset.
