RF Test Engineer – Ground Segment
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Ground Segment RF Test Engineer, you will support the integration, validation, and testing of satellite communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure RF compatibility and mission readiness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform RF compatibility testing between ground segment systems and satellites
Support integration and validation of new features and services
Configure, operate, and maintain RF test equipment
Manage customer-provided hardware (e.g. transceivers, engineering models)
Develop and execute test procedures and produce technical test reports
Collaborate with software, DSP, and operations teams
Provide technical support to customers during RF test campaigns
REQUIREMENTS
Must-have
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of experience in RF or telecommunications engineering
Experience with satellite communication systems or ground segment operations
Strong understanding of RF systems and testing methodologies
Experience in working with with Linux/Ubuntu environments
Fluent in English
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of RF test equipment and measurement techniques
Python scripting skills
Familiarity with Safran tools (CRT, CORTEX, NURON, SATCORE)
Experience working with international customer
Previous experience in technical coordination, project leadership, or team leadership

Salary range: €35,000-40,000 gross annual salary
