Risk Analyst
Remote (Based at an approved local secure facility). We work US time zones and ask that you're available during those hours, even if that means adjusting your schedule.
About The Role
This role exists to identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks through systematic analysis and planning. You will work within a highly structured, process-driven environment where attention to detail and error-free work are non-negotiable. The team operates independently and asynchronously, with members distributed across time zones globally. You will own risk assessment responsibilities rather than support tasks. Your work directly shapes how the organization responds to emerging threats and compliance requirements.
What You'll Do
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to organizational operations.
Develop threat models that map attack vectors and evaluate likelihood and impact scenarios.
Create and oversee mitigation plans that address identified risks and reduce organizational exposure.
Analyze compliance requirements across relevant frameworks and ensure organizational adherence to standards.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
Proven experience with threat modeling and vulnerability analysis techniques.
Experience developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and remediation plans.
Knowledge of compliance analysis across relevant regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency with risk management software, governance tools, and compliance platforms.
Ability to work with risk databases, analytics tools, and reporting software.
