REMOTE Freelance Robotics Engineer

📍 Netherlands | Remote/Hybrid | Freelance

Join innovative automation and robotics projects across the Dutch manufacturing, logistics, and high-tech sectors. You'll be responsible for designing and integrating advanced robotic systems and automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic cells and automation systems
• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
• Collaborate with controls and software engineers to deliver integrated solutions
• Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong CAD design experience (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or Siemens NX)
• Knowledge of machine safety standards and risk assessments
• Strong communication skills in English

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with vision systems and robotic perception technologies
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled automation systems
• Experience designing EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) and material handling solutions
• Previous commissioning or system integration experience
