Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robotics software components using ROS/ROS2, C++, and Python
- Develop and tune perception and localization pipelines (SLAM, sensor fusion, calibration)
- Implement motion planning and control logic for reliable navigation and task execution
- Build simulation workflows (Gazebo or equivalent) and support simulation-to-real validation
- Integrate sensors (cameras, LiDAR, IMU) and define interfaces, message schemas, and timing constraints
- Create test plans and automated regression tests; participate in code reviews
- Debug field/production issues using logs, metrics, and reproducible scenarios
- Document architecture, configuration, and operating procedures for handoff
- Mid-senior experience in robotics engineering or autonomous systems
- Strong C++ and Python skills with focus on safety, performance, and maintainability
- Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience (TF frames, bagging, robot bring-up)
- Knowledge of motion planning, kinematics, control, and navigation
- Experience with SLAM, sensor fusion, or state estimation (EKF/UKF)
- Comfort with Linux development, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows
- Computer vision experience (OpenCV, calibration, depth/detection)
- Production deployment experience in robotics environments
- Familiarity with real-time/embedded constraints and hardware debugging
- Safety, fault handling, and reliability engineering exposure
