Roofing Scaffolding Manager

• Lead roofing, scaffolding and construction projects in unique heritage environments.
• Permanent full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity
• Office location based in Alexandria, Sydney working from home 1 day per week
• Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $118,587 to $131,268 + super

In this role you will

Take the lead on a range of building, construction, maintenance and civil projects, working with your team and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. From planning projects and coordinating minor infrastructure works to monitoring safety, environmental, heritage and construction requirements, you’ll keep things moving while balancing competing priorities across multiple projects and active work environments. You’ll bring practical project management expertise, build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, contribute to business proposals, and look for smarter ways to improve how work is delivered. A key part of the role is maintaining workforce capability and technical expertise while finding the right balance between specialised heritage conservation requirements and contemporary construction, maintenance and work health and safety standards.

About you

You’re an experienced construction professional who knows how to keep projects moving while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and practical outcomes. You’re confident managing multiple priorities, leading and supporting teams, and building productive relationships with clients and stakeholders. You’ll bring sound judgement, strong technical knowledge and a practical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to balance heritage conservation requirements with contemporary construction, maintenance and work health and safety standards.

Scaffolding is a key and ongoing part of this role, so you’ll bring strong scaffolding knowledge and practical experience to support the safe delivery of projects.

Essential Requirements

• Holds a trade certificate or equivalent qualification in a construction craft stream of Roofing, Carpentry, and Scaffolding with relevant experience in the field
• Well-developed knowledge and understanding of current Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations
• A valid Australian Driver Licence
• Willing and able to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays
