Mars is seeking a dynamic S2P E-Invoicing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Global Finance team as part of the strategic Digital Core Program. In this role, you will bring critical expertise in e-invoice ingestion and government mandates (with a primary focus on Europe) to help shape, standardize, and deploy a future-fit end-to-end Invoice and Payment Processing design across our business segments.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Contribute actively to the end-to-end e-Invoice process design, participating in global design workshops, deep-dive sessions, and previews.
• Help identify key business scenarios across the e-Invoice landscape using business acumen and organizational networks.
• Ensure the Global Template is standardized, meets segment and local compliance requirements, and supports effective deployment.
• Actively contribute to country validation preparation, execution, and sign-off, ensuring alignment of documentation and key design decisions.
• Conduct Change Impact Assessments and provide input for training needs analysis, following prescribed formats and guidelines.
• Support the development of Proof of Concepts (PoCs), test cases, and country playbooks for compliance with e-invoice mandates.
• Partner closely with the data team to ensure data accuracy and integrity required for e-Invoicing processes.
• Support segment deployments, testing phases, and associated go-live / hypercare activities.
• Manage project deliverables according to the activity plan, proactively highlighting blockages and escalating issues to ensure delivery on time and within scope.
• Build and nurture a network of e-Invoicing experts across Mars and ensure smooth alignment between Digital Core transformations and BAU teams.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 5+ years of domain experience, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods (CPG) company.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline (Master’s/MBA or CPA/CA is a plus).
• Detailed understanding of e-Invoice ingestion tools, industry standards, and European government mandates impacting I2P processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and connected technologies such as SAP Ariba, OneSource, and workflow tools like OpenText VIM.
• Prior involvement in enterprise-wide transformation programs, system deployments, or change initiatives.
• Digital savvy mindset with exposure to automation trends, RPA, and AI technologies.
• Strong project management discipline and Lean Six Sigma knowledge (certification preferred).
• Exceptional communication (fluent English), stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills in a global, matrixed environment.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter with strong ownership, a global mindset, and the ability to manage complexity.
