SaaS License Manager (12 months FTC)

Location: Skelmersdale/Glasgow (Hybrid)

The Role:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented SaaS License Manager (FTC Maternity Cover) to join our team. This is a customer-focused role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of software subscriptions and associated utility data services, ensuring software licences are renewed efficiently, customer records are maintained accurately, and billing processes run smoothly.
Working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party providers, you will play an important role in supporting customer retention, protecting recurring revenue, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end software licence renewal process for customer accounts.
  • Monitor upcoming licence expirations and proactively coordinate renewal activities.
  • Prepare and issue renewal quotations and secure customer purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate licence, billing, and customer records across business systems.
  • Process customer account, vendor, and billing updates.
  • Manage utility invoice collection, processing, reconciliation, and administration activities.
  • Investigate invoice discrepancies and data quality issues, working with internal teams and third-party providers to resolve them.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries relating to licence renewals and invoicing.
  • Support customer onboarding and ongoing account management activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality, and customer experience.
  • Provide English and Chinese translation support for software and website content when required.

Your Skills:

  • Previous experience managing software subscriptions, licence renewals, customer accounts, or commercial administration activities.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience within a SaaS, software, utilities, energy management, or technology environment would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of subscription-based business models would be beneficial.
  • Chinese language proficiency is desirable.
