Join our Safety & Wellbeing team in a varied and collaborative role where you’ll help bring important safety initiatives and projects to life. Working closely with Project Partners and key stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll coordinate project activities, track progress and deliverables, support communications, and help ensure our Safety & Wellbeing priorities are delivered effectively and on time.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping projects moving, working with a range of stakeholders and turning information into practical, accessible resources. Alongside project coordination, you’ll support the ongoing improvement of our safety systems, SharePoint resources, reporting and documentation, contributing to initiatives that make a genuine difference to the safety and wellbeing of our people.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Coordinate and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and activities across Safety & Wellbeing initiatives.
- Monitor project progress and support the timely delivery of key milestones and outcomes.
- Work closely with Project Partners and stakeholders to coordinate project consultation, communication and engagement activities.
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of safety management systems, documents, tools and records.
- Design, update and manage SharePoint pages, ensuring safety information is clear, accessible and easy for employees to navigate.
- Coordinate Safety & Wellbeing consultation activities to support organisational and legislative requirements.
- Review incident management data and assist with reporting, trend analysis and the preparation of presentations and insights.
- Coordinate team communications and shared inboxes, ensuring queries and information are managed effectively.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong project coordination, administration or business support experience, ideally within a safety, wellbeing or similarly complex environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly across Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience with, or exposure to, safety management systems and incident management databases would be advantageous.
- A qualification in Project Management, Business Administration or Work Health and Safety would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
- Flexibility to undertake occasional intra or interstate travel, including overnight stays where required.
