What you will be doing

Business Analysis & Solution Support:

• Engage with clients to understand their business processes, requirements, and operational challenges.
• Assist with analysing business requirements and translating these into appropriate ERP solutions.
• Document business requirements, processes, and proposed solution approaches.
• Contribute to gap analysis and identify opportunities to improve business processes through ERP functionality.

ERP Implementation & Configuration:

• Assist with the implementation and configuration of Sage ERP solutions in line with client requirements.
• Support system setup, testing, data preparation, and implementation activities.
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and issue resolution.
• Investigate and troubleshoot system and implementation-related issues, escalating complex matters where required.
• Research and recommend appropriate solutions to client queries and business requirements.

Client Engagement & Training:

• Participate in client meetings, workshops, discovery sessions, and implementation discussions.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and understand their business needs.
• Assist with user training, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer to support effective ERP adoption.
• Communicate technical and functional concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support:

• Support clients throughout the go-live process and assist with a smooth transition to the new ERP environment.
• Provide post-go-live support and assist with resolving user and system queries.
• Monitor and address support requirements while ensuring appropriate escalation of complex issues.
• Assist clients in maximising the value and functionality of their Sage ERP solutions.

Team Contribution & Professional Development:

• Collaborate with fellow consultants, project teams, developers, and other internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practices within the consulting team.
• Keep up to date with Sage ERP functionality, industry developments, and emerging technologies.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Understanding of business and financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.
• Experience in similar ERP such Acumatica, Syspro, NetSuite etc.
• Exposure to an ERP system, business management system, accounting software, or enterprise technology environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong client-service orientation and the ability to work collaboratively within a consulting environment.
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and develop expertise across Sage ERP solutions.

Advantageous

• Previous experience in ERP consulting, implementation, application support, business analysis, finance, accounting, or systems support.
• Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, or optimisation projects.
• Previous client-facing or consulting experience.
• Completion of, or progress towards, Sage Intacct certifications or similar ERP certifications.

• Occasional travel for client meetings or team collaboration.
