Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Managed Services Sales professional to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time role is ideal for a motivated business professional with a passion for sales, client engagement, and relationship-building. As a key contributor to the company’s success, you will focus on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across diverse industries within the Richmond area market!

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth and expand market presence within an assigned territory.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain executive‑level relationships across industries, community groups, business organizations, and strategic partners.
  • Proactively develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Accurately forecast new business opportunities and manage sales activities to meet targets.
  • Focus on acquiring new clients and establishing long-term, trusted partnerships.
  • Engage with new business prospects daily and conduct weekly onsite or virtual meetings.
  • Research and identify potential clients, understanding their business needs and technology challenges.
  • Qualify and pursue opportunities specifically related to Managed Services and IT solutions.


Requirements

  • 2+ years in managed services sales or similar
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships through networking, partnerships, and referrals within SMB
  • Solid understanding of IT challenges and the ability to identify and articulate client pain points.
  • Skilled at translating client needs into actionable sales opportunities.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results‑oriented, accountable, and committed to achieving performance goals.
