About the Team/Role: Field Sales Representative- Chevron & Texaco (California & Texas) As a Field Sales Rep (FSR) at WEX Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and growth for our market-leading payment product. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new accounts for the Chevron commercial card program. We are looking for individuals who reside within the territory which covers the states of California and Texas. We are seeking dynamic, results-oriented sales professionals who are adept at generating strong leads, prospecting, and identifying opportunities, and will have experience selling in a B2B environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with exceptional discovery and presentation skills and has a strong track record in closing sales. As a Chevron FSR for our commercial fleet card program, you will share the same passion for continuous innovation and client service that is unparalleled in our industry. You will strongly represent both the Chevron and the WEX brand in your territory. How you'll make an impact: As a “Hunter” in this role, the FSR will take on the primary responsibility of identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within the territory of California and Texas. Key responsibilities include: Consistently meet or exceed sales monthly KPIs (net cards, gallons, revenue) Develop a strategic plan for territory expansion in collaboration with your sales manager Self-generate leads and build a robust pipeline of commercial card opportunities Maintain accurate records in Salesforce Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills through superior product and competitive knowledge Effectively cross-sell other WEX products and services. Experience you'll bring: Remote: (Must reside in one of the following states (California or Texas) 3-5 years of outside sales experience with proven client acquisition Performance & Strategy: Consistent B2B sales performance with a track record of successfully competing and winning against market competitors. Pipeline & CRM Management: End-to-end sales cycle management—from prospecting and qualification to opportunity advancement, forecasting, and Salesforce maintenance. Relationship & Level Selling: Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to build relationships and sell across all decision-making levels and partner organizations. Territory Management: High degree of territory management capability and commitment to the WEX sales methodology. Autonomy & Drive: Highly self-motivated, goal-focused, and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision. Adaptability: Creative, flexible, and adaptable in fast-paced or evolving sales environments. Travel is required, must be comfortable in air/vehicle travel Successful completion of a background check Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
