We offer full range of security services including; security strategy, compliance, security engineering, cloud security and MDR with deep strengths in high tech and high-growth industries.
The Opportunity
Scybers is expanding its U.S. presence and is seeking a North America Sales and Alliances Leader to drive growth across the mid-market segment in Texas and West Coast. This is a direct sales role for a resourceful seller who can independently build pipeline, open doors, and close cybersecurity services engagements in a lean, growing environment.
This is not a Head of Sales or people-management position. The initial focus is individual production, regional relationship building, and establishing a repeatable sales motion.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation through negotiation and close.
- Build net-new relationships with mid-sized organizations across Texas and the West Coast.
- Sell cybersecurity consulting and managed services based on each client’s business and security needs.
- Develop trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and other executive stakeholders.
- Generate your own opportunities through direct outreach, networking, events, referrals, and regional relationships.
- Work with established Google relationships where helpful, while maintaining primary ownership of lead generation and deal execution.
- Partner closely with Scybers leadership, delivery, and technical teams to shape solutions and win business.
- Help refine messaging, positioning, and sales practices based on market feedback.
- Travel regionally as needed to meet customers and partners.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong track record of selling to mid-sized organizations and a deep understanding of the mid-market sales environment.
- Experience selling cybersecurity, technology consulting, managed services, or other complex business-to-business services.
- A proven hunter who can independently source opportunities, build relationships, and close new business.
- Existing relationships in Texas or the West Coast that can help open doors with technology and security leaders.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles and communicating credibly with senior executives.
- Comfort working as an individual contributor within a lean company where established sales infrastructure and support may be limited.
- Small-company or growth-stage experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of areas such as managed detection and response, security operations, cloud security, identity, and risk or compliance is helpful.
- Google Cloud or partner-led selling experience is a plus, but this role is primarily focused on direct sales.
Location
Remote within one of the following target markets:
- Texas: Austin or Dallas preferred
- California: San Francisco preferred
The successful candidate should be able to meet customers and partners in person and cover the broader Texas and West Coast territory as needed.
Engagement and Compensation
This is intended to be a full-time commitment structured initially as an independent consulting engagement. Scybers expects to evaluate conversion to U.S. employment after the first year based on individual performance and continued U.S. growth.
- Competitive fixed compensation
- Revenue-based incentive compensation
- Potential participation in Scybers’ employee ownership program
