Remote Travel Advisor - Sales and Reservations Leisure Life Travel is seeking a motivated, business-minded Remote Travel Advisor to assist clients with planning and booking cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel experiences. This opportunity is designed for individuals who enjoy working with people, have strong customer service skills, and are willing to develop the sales, marketing, and travel industry knowledge necessary to build a successful client base. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity and not a W-2 employment position . Compensation is performance-based and connected to eligible completed travel bookings and applicable supplier-paid compensation. Earnings are not guaranteed and will vary based on individual sales activity, client development, bookings, consistency, and overall business performance. Travel Planning and Reservations The Travel Advisor will assist clients throughout the travel planning and booking process. This includes identifying client needs, researching destinations, comparing travel options, providing accurate pricing and availability information, and helping clients select cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, transportation, and other travel services. Advisors are responsible for maintaining accurate reservation information and communicating important details such as payment deadlines, travel documentation, supplier policies, itinerary information, and applicable travel requirements. The advisor will maintain communication with clients throughout the booking process and provide appropriate follow-up before and after travel. Customer Service and Client Retention Excellent customer service and professional communication are essential to this role. Travel Advisors should be comfortable communicating with clients by phone, email, text, social media, and online platforms. Advisors are expected to respond to client inquiries professionally, maintain organized records, follow up on outstanding requests, and provide clients with a positive travel planning experience. Client retention is an important part of building a successful travel business. Advisors should focus on developing long-term relationships that generate repeat bookings, referrals, future travel opportunities, and ongoing client loyalty. Travel Sales and Business Development This opportunity includes a strong sales and business development component. Advisors are expected to develop new client relationships, communicate with prospective travelers, follow up with leads, and maintain an active pipeline of potential clients. Successful Travel Advisors understand that sales require consistent relationship building, prospecting, follow-up, customer service, and marketing. Advisors should be comfortable discussing travel options, recommending appropriate vacation products, identifying additional travel opportunities, and asking clients for future business and referrals. This is not a passive opportunity. Individuals who succeed will consistently work on developing clients and generating travel sales. Social Media and Marketing Knowledge of social media platforms is strongly preferred. Advisors should be willing to use platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital communication channels to develop professional visibility and attract potential travel clients. Advisors will learn how to market travel services, promote destinations, share cruise and resort opportunities, communicate travel information, and use social media as part of their overall client development strategy. Previous professional social media marketing experience is not required, but candidates must be willing to learn and consistently apply marketing strategies. Travel Supplier and Vendor Training Travel industry training and continued professional development are important components of this opportunity. Advisors are expected to become familiar with approved travel suppliers, cruise lines, resorts, tour operators, vacation package providers, booking systems, reservation platforms, supplier websites, and other travel industry resources. Participation in company, supplier, destination, and industry training is expected. Advisors must be willing to learn how to access and properly use available vendor systems and booking platforms. Because travel products, promotions, policies, and destinations continually change, advisors should be committed to continuing their travel education and staying informed about the products they recommend to clients. Organization and Time Commitment Travel Advisors must be organized and able to manage client communication, reservations, follow-up, training, marketing, and sales activity independently. Independent contractors should be prepared to dedicate approximately 15 hours per week to developing their travel business. This may include client service, travel research, reservation management, prospecting, marketing, social media activity, sales follow-up, supplier education, and professional training. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to manage their schedules, maintain accurate client information, meet important booking deadlines, and follow through on client commitments. Qualifications The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer service skills, is dependable, professional, organized, coachable, comfortable working independently, and willing to learn new technology and travel reservation systems. Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, reservations, marketing, social media, business development, or the travel industry is helpful but not required. Candidates without previous travel experience should be prepared to complete training and actively develop their knowledge of destinations, suppliers, booking procedures, sales, and client service. Basic computer skills, reliable internet access, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with online platforms are important for success. Who This Opportunity Is For This Remote Travel Advisor opportunity is best suited for someone who wants to develop a professional travel business and understands that success requires more than a love of travel. We are looking for individuals who are prepared to learn the travel industry, develop client relationships, market their services, follow up consistently, provide excellent customer service, participate in training, and actively generate travel sales. Candidates should approach this opportunity with a business-minded attitude and be prepared to take responsibility for their professional development, client service, marketing, sales activity, and overall business growth. If you are motivated, organized, comfortable working with clients, willing to learn, and serious about developing a client-focused travel business, we encourage you to apply.
