Job Summary:
The Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business opportunities by prospecting and engaging current and prospective clients. This position involves conducting outbound sales calls, delivering consultative presentations, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing while meeting performance targets and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct persuasive and consultative sales presentations by phone to introduce and promote the Company’s customizable magazine products
- Maintain a consistently high level of daily outbound call activity to generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and follow-up
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing
- Confidently manage sales conversations, address client questions, handle objections, and effectively close sales
- Proactively prospect new real estate agents while nurturing and following up with warm leads
- Identify client needs and position customized magazine solutions accordingly
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information within CRM to support efficient sales operations
- Participate in daily team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing sales coaching to enhance product knowledge and sales performance
- Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service in all client interactions
- Remain informed on product offerings, industry trends, and sales best practices
- Complete additional related duties as assigned by leadership
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of previous sales experience is required, preferably in a phone-based sales role.
- Must be comfortable placing cold calls.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a high volume of calls and emails.
- Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to excel both independently and within a team.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Must possess a capacity and willingness to learn a variety of computer software applications. including, but not limited to, order entry and job ticket systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in using sales/CRM software is an asset, with prior experience in Salesforce considered a strong asset
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
This role is 100% remote. Base pay plus commission.
