Sales Development Manager - Health Tech

Established over a decade ago, our client is a fast-growing health technology business providing innovative solutions to the care sector. Recognised in Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50, the company has continued to scale significantly since its inception and now generates annual revenues of more than £10 million.

They are looking to recruit a Sales Development Manager to build, lead and retain a high-performing SDR team through effective recruitment, coaching, mentoring and ongoing development.

This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week spent in their Gallway, Ireland office.

Responsibilities

• Own SDR headcount and capacity planning, overseeing the end-to-end recruitment, interviewing and selection of new SDRs.
• Oversee the onboarding and ramp-up of new SDRs against a clearly defined ramp plan.
• Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports at least twice per month, alongside weekly team stand-ups, call coaching and call-listening sessions.
• Implement structured coaching and performance improvement plans where required, while establishing clear career progression pathways from SDR to Senior SDR and ultimately AE.
• Monitor and improve team engagement and satisfaction through regular feedback, internal surveys and engagement initiatives.
• Drive strong team retention and internal promotion rates, while effectively managing holidays, absence and team coverage to ensure consistent outbound activity.

The Successful Candidate

• 1+ years in a team lead or sales management position, ideally running an outbound / demo booking team
• SDR Manager, Sales Development Manager, Sales Development Team Lead, SDR Team Lead experience
• Minimum 3 years prior experience in sales development or business development in B2B SaaS
• Candidates from a wide range of software backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Experience selling into health and social care, or another regulated market is beneficial
• Experience using HubSpot would be a plus
• MEDDIC training would be a plus
• Commutable to Galway, Ireland

Sales Development Manager Package

• Basic salary: up to €45,000
• OTE: + €15,000 (uncapped)
