Our client is a high-growth, Manchester-based technology company transforming how organisations engage with their customers through AI, data, and cloud communications. Their core platform is an AI-powered, omnichannel customer engagement solution that enables businesses to manage every interaction across voice, messaging, chat, and video, in one unified system.
Back by private-equity in 2025, our client has seen significant year-on-year growth and are now investing in a Sales Development Representative team to drive new products into the market.
What's on offer
- £30,000 basic salary + £10,000 OTE, uncapped
- The three-month Furza Sales Academy, including two weeks face-to-face training in Manchester, ISP accredited
- Ongoing coaching from both Furza and our client once you're in the role
- Every SDR hired in the last two years has been promoted into an Account Executive role within 18 months
- Hybrid working - three days a week in the Manchester office
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, 5% employer pension
- Industry events, webinars and conferences to build your network
The role
As an Sales Development Representative, you're the first conversation a prospect has with the business. You'll research target accounts, work out who's worth speaking to and why, and start conversations that turn into qualified meetings for the sales team.
It's a role you learn fast in. You'll be on the phone, in inboxes and on LinkedIn every day, testing what works and refining as you go, with a manager who coaches you rather than just checking your numbers.
What you'll do
- Research and identify target accounts across finance and operations teams
- Reach out by phone, email and social to start conversations with decision-makers
- Ask good questions and listen properly, so you understand what a prospect actually needs
- Book qualified meetings for senior salespeople and support the wider sales cycle
- Keep CRM records accurate and use the data to sharpen your approach
- Work closely with marketing on campaigns, events and follow-up
- Become genuinely knowledgeable about the product and the market it sits in
About you
No sales experience needed, that's what the training is for. We're looking for people who are:
- Curious, and happy to ask questions until they understand something properly
- Organised enough to manage their own time without being chased
- Confident talking to people they've never met
- Motivated by targets and by getting better at something over time
At Furza, we’re committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. If there’s anything we can do to support you during the process, please let us know, we’d be happy to help.
