PinPoint Analytics is an AI-powered public works data and bid intelligence platform. We organize and analyze real bid results to help contractors price against the market, help civil engineering firms create market-aligned project estimates for municipal clients, and help public-sector teams reduce the risk of over-budget bids, rebids, and avoidable project delays. Civil engineering firms are among our largest customers.
Position Overview
We are hiring Sales Development Representatives to build the top of our sales funnel as we expand across the United States. You will cold-call small and mid-sized US businesses, open conversations with people who have never heard of us, qualify initial fit, and book meetings for our Account Executives — who then run discovery, demonstrations, and the close.
This is a high-volume, high-velocity outbound role. Our AEs win many deals around a $20,000 annual price point with small and mid-sized civil contractors, not a few seven-figure enterprise contracts. That means your job is measured in conversations started and qualified meetings booked, not in nurturing a handful of accounts.
You do not need to know anything about construction, estimating, or public works bidding to apply. We provide full product and market training after you are hired. What we cannot train quickly is the ability to hold a cold conversation with a busy, skeptical business owner in English and earn thirty seconds of their attention.
This role is fully remote for candidates based in Latin America, working United States business hours.
What You Will Own
- Make consistent daily outbound cold calls to owners, estimators, and managers at small and mid-sized US contractors and civil engineering firms.
- Open cold conversations with a short, relevant hook — and keep control of the call without being pushy.
- Qualify initial fit against a clear, trainable set of criteria before booking anything.
- Book qualified meetings for Account Executives and hand off clean, useful context so the AE can prepare.
- Work a curated target list built with Sales Enablement and Sales Operations, and feed back what you learn so the list keeps improving.
- Supplement calling with email and LinkedIn follow-up in a disciplined, repeatable cadence.
- Log every call, contact, and outcome in HubSpot with clean, current data.
- Handle the same objections dozens of times a day and keep getting better at them.
- Report on your own activity and conversion honestly, including what is not working.
A Day in the Life
- Work United States business hours with your target territory, from a reliable home office with stable internet and a quiet calling environment.
- Make a high volume of dials against a targeted list — expect calling to be the majority of your day.
- Research accounts and contacts before dialing so the opening line is relevant rather than generic.
- Book and confirm meetings, then make sure prospects actually show up.
- Join a short daily team sync and regular coaching sessions where calls are reviewed and the pitch is refined.
- Collaborate with AEs, Sales Enablement, and leadership in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
Must Haves
- Professional English fluency — you will spend your entire day on the phone with US business owners in English, handling interruptions, objections, and fast conversational turns.
- 1+ years of B2B outbound experience: cold calling, SDR/BDR, telesales, or a comparable phone-based prospecting role.
- A demonstrable record of hitting activity and meeting-setting targets, with real numbers you can speak to.
- Comfort with rejection and the resilience to keep dialing after a string of hang-ups.
- Coachability — you take direct feedback on a call and apply it on the very next one.
- Discipline with CRM hygiene and follow-up cadence (HubSpot experience is a plus, not a requirement).
- Based in Latin America, able to work United States business hours consistently.
- A reliable computer, stable high-speed internet, and a quiet, professional calling environment.
Nice to Haves — Backgrounds That Stand Out
None of these are required. Each strengthens a candidacy, and combinations stand out even more:
- Outbound experience selling into the US market, especially to small and mid-sized businesses or owner-operators.
- SaaS or technology prospecting experience, particularly where the buyer was not already looking for the product.
- Experience selling into construction, trades, industrial, logistics, equipment, or other blue-collar and field-based industries.
- Experience in bid-driven or public-sector-adjacent markets, where customers win revenue through competitive bidding.
- A track record of promotion from SDR into a closing role — we want people who want that path.
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting and CRM tooling.
Does This Sound Like You?
You are energized rather than discouraged by a hard cold call. You would rather have twelve real conversations than send two hundred emails into the void. You take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do, and you are honest about your numbers — including the bad weeks. You want to learn a specialized industry deeply, and you see the SDR seat as the first step toward closing, not as the destination.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time independent contractor engagement (not employment). Compensation is structured as base pay plus performance bonus, paid monthly in USD; there is no separate benefits package (health insurance, paid time off, etc.), and contractors are responsible for their own local tax obligations.
- Base pay: $1,500–$2,000 USD per month, paid monthly in USD, commensurate with experience.
- Solid bonus structure on top of base, tied to key performance indicators — call activity, qualified meetings delivered, and net-new ARR generated — each weighted according to role priorities.
- We reward strong performers generously.
- Fully remote, working United States business hours.
- Full product and market training, plus ongoing call coaching.
Screening Process
- Submit your application and resume.
- Complete a structured English voice screen with role-play; you may ask to repeat a question, skip it, or request a human alternative at any point.
- Advance to a human interview with sales leadership.
Our screening process evaluates listening comprehension, clarity, call control, objection handling, and coaching response. It does not evaluate accent, pronunciation, native-speaker status, age, background, or personality stereotypes. Human reviewers make all hiring decisions.
How to Apply
