About The Company

Our client develops cutting-edge voice automation, AI agents, and large language model solutions purpose-built for the healthcare ecosystem.

Their platform automates inbound and outbound workflows across pharmacy operations, scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and patient engagement through deep integrations with major Pharmacy Management Systems and leading EHR platforms such as Epic and athenahealth.

Operating within HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITECH compliant environments, they partner with pharmacies, health systems, and pharmaceutical organizations across the United States. They are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Sales Development Representative who can build top-of-funnel pipeline, drive outbound engagement, and qualify high-value enterprise opportunities.

Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the front line of our client's commercial growth engine.

Approximately 85% of the role will focus on direct outbound prospecting, cold calling, email sequencing, and booking qualified meetings for Account Executives, with 15% focused on list building, CRM hygiene, script optimization, and sales administrative reporting.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and understands how to turn cold leads into qualified discovery calls through consistent, disciplined outreach.

This Includes

  • Executing multi-channel outbound campaigns (cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn outreach)
  • Prospecting target accounts across US pharmacies, health systems, and pharma companies
  • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads against target criteria
  • Scheduling discovery meetings and facilitating smooth handoffs to Account Executives
  • Managing sales technology stacks, email sequences, and cold call lists
  • Maintaining immaculate CRM records and tracking outreach metrics
  • Incorporating AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to personalize outreach messaging efficiently

The successful candidate should be energetic, resilient on the phone, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a remote environment aligned with US business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & Cold Outreach

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through disciplined outbound prospecting across phone, email, and social channels.
  • Build target account lists across US pharmacies, health systems, and pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Consistently execute structured outbound sales cadences to hit daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets.
  • Conduct cold calls confidently and articulate complex AI value propositions succinctly.

Lead Qualification & Handoffs

  • Qualify prospect leads against defined buyer personas and decision-maker criteria.
  • Identify key decision-makers, buying committees, and operational pain points.
  • Book qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives and ensure seamless context handoffs.

Prospect Research & Messaging Optimization

  • Research target accounts and executive stakeholders to tailor outreach messaging.
  • Test new hooks, call scripts, and email subject lines based on prospect responses and team feedback.
  • Utilize AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate copy personalization and research workflows.

CRM Hygiene & Sales Operations

  • Maintain clean CRM data by accurately logging calls, email touches, contacts, and deal stages.
  • Keep prospect lists and follow-up schedules organized so zero leads slip through the cracks.
  • Share market insights, objection trends, and competitive feedback with the broader commercial team.

Hard Skills & Qualifications

  • 0-2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, or customer-facing sales/outbound roles.
  • Exceptional spoken and written English skills with a confident, clear phone presence.
  • Comfortable making high-volume cold calls and engaging new decision-makers daily.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Exposure to sales engagement and intelligence tools (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, Outreach, Salesloft, Instantly, Aircall).
  • Ability to work full-time hours aligned with US Eastern or Central time zones.

Preferred Tools

  • CRM: Salesforce / HubSpot
  • Sales Engagement & Data: Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, Outreach, Salesloft, Instantly, Aircall, HeyReach
  • Productivity & AI: ChatGPT, Claude, Google Workspace
  • Social Prospecting: LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Candidates do not need experience with every tool listed. Outbound grit, strong phone skills, high coachability, and quick software adaptability are prioritized.

Soft Skills

  • Hunter Mentality: Driven by creating new opportunities through proactive outreach.
  • Coachability: Quick to implement feedback and refine outreach tactics.
  • Resilience: Persistent, positive, and undeterred by rejection.
  • Organization: Meticulous in managing follow-ups, lead status, and calendars.
  • Self-Starter: Takes accountability for activity metrics in an autonomous remote environment.

About The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an ambitious, goal-driven sales practitioner who loves the chase of opening new doors. You understand that an SDR's core focus is generating qualified meetings—not closing deals—and you enjoy the challenge of introducing cutting-edge AI technology to healthcare stakeholders. You are curious, organized, and excited to join a fast-growing tech company where activity directly drives commercial success.

Why This Role Matters

This position is the primary engine behind company pipeline growth. Every qualified meeting booked directly expands the customer base and helps US healthcare organizations modernize operations using state-of-the-art AI automation.
