Job Description
Sales Enablement Senior Specialist

Summary

Hexagon is seeking a Sales Enablement Senior Specialist to advance seller and channel partner effectiveness across the Portable Metrology portfolio in the Americas. This role develops and delivers scalable, role-specific enablement programmes for Direct Sales, Inside Sales, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs), and channel partners. Working across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Sales Operations and divisional enablement teams, the specialist translates regional priorities into practical learning, certification, tools and processes that help teams engage customers with confidence.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain regional enablement plans tailored to seller roles and channel partners, aligned with commercial priorities, portfolio positioning and business goals.

Represent Portable Metrology Americas in cross-divisional planning and coordinate regional initiatives with broader enablement priorities.

Lead stakeholder engagement, communications and training to support adoption of new processes, tools and programmes.

Coordinate rollouts and continuous improvement for learning management systems, AI-enabled role-play tools, Seismic access and other sales workflows.

Design and maintain scalable onboarding journeys, partner certification criteria and role-specific assessment rubrics.

Review ongoing learning programmes quarterly, identify gaps and deliver focused microlearning on outreach personalisation, active listening and resilience.

Collaborate with subject-matter experts and product teams to create and facilitate product knowledge, positioning and sales-skills training, including discovery, negotiation and customer empathy.

Deliver onboarding workshops and manage scheduling, materials and training logistics for BDRs, ISRs and channel partners.

Maintain accurate enablement documentation covering sales processes, lead routing, partner engagement, policy changes, onboarding guides and certification standards.

Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations on campaign briefs, lead-routing alignment and communications that support consistent execution.

Plan and coordinate enablement for strategic industry and sales events, including World Class Solutions (WCS), International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), sales kick-offs and partner summits.

Ensure content, training, logistics and stakeholder readiness support effective participation in regional events.

Track programme participation, completion, certification, learner feedback and adoption indicators; use findings to improve enablement effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, learning and development, sales operations or a closely related commercial function.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training, onboarding or certification programmes for multiple sales audiences.
  • Ability to manage regional programmes, influence stakeholders without direct authority and balance competing priorities.
  • Strong facilitation, instructional content development, documentation, communication and project management skills.
  • Experience using learning platforms, sales content systems, CRM-related workflows or comparable commercial technology.
  • Ability to translate technical product information into clear, customer-focused sales messages.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting industrial technology, manufacturing, metrology or other technical B2B solution portfolios.
  • Experience enabling indirect sales channels, distributors or partner certification programmes.
  • Familiarity with Seismic, learning management systems and AI-supported sales practice tools.
  • Experience measuring training adoption and programme outcomes across distributed teams.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in the United States, combining remote work with in-office collaboration according to the assigned office and team schedule. Work is primarily performed in a professional office or home-office environment using standard computer and collaboration equipment. Travel within the Americas may be required for training, partner engagements, team meetings and industry events. The role may involve extended periods of computer-based work and presenting or facilitating sessions in person or virtually. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable qualified individuals to perform essential job functions.
