First (Days)Overview:
AvMed, a division of Sentara Health Plans in the Florida Market, is looking to hire a Sales Executive, IFP in the Tampa, Orlando & North Florida area.
Territory: Tampa, Orlando, Central Florida & North Florida
The Sales Executive cultivates and manages relationships with assigned brokers and territories to achieve profitable net new business objectives. Responsible for managing the entire sales process with assigned brokers and direct prospects or sales leads as assigned by Sales Manager. Consistently meet or exceed assigned goals. Present to and communicate with decision makers and key influencers. Conduct member education sessions as requested.
The Sales Executive is responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with assigned brokers and territories to drive profitable net new business growth. Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals. Effectively communicates and presents to decision-makers and key influencers within client organizations. Conduct member education sessions as requested to enhance understanding of products and services.
Collaborates with internal teams, including marketing, underwriting, and customer service, to support broker and client needs. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities. Consistently meet or exceeds assigned sales goals and performance metrics.
Education:
· Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience required, or
· HS degree and 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Relevant years of experience includes Sales and Customer Relations experience.
Certification:
· Must obtain a Florida 2-40 Health Insurance License within 90 days of hire or the broader 2-15 Health & Life License.
· Valid Florida Driver's License required.
Experience:
· 4 years of Sales Health Plan experience (required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $67,891.20 - $102,440.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
