To support this mission, Syngenta’sSales team is seeking a Sales Manager - Vegetables in Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala. This role will lead the Vegetable Seeds sales and business in an ACM Sales Area, delivering short, mid and long-term business targets while building a sustainable business and contributing to the Commercial Unit and Veg Business strategy. And will leads and develops a high-performance Sales team to achieve sales and profit targets for the Sales Area. Accountabilities Act as a Key Driver of specific crop strategies to deliver sustainable long-term Sales Area business objectives. Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts and sales plans for the Sales Area. Design and drive the evolution of the Go to Market strategies in the area in alignment with the Commercial Unit to deliver an efficient and effective business, provides continuous feedback on the area market and customer evolution. Leverages continuously increasing customer and market intimacy to develop the overall Veg Seeds offer, and corresponding sales execution for the area. Monitor business performance and adjust strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and overall business contribution targets. Manages and coaches the sales team for the assigned area, setting and overseeing the team’s actions, goals, and performance to ensure high performance and to build strong, future-ready teams. Implements sales execution actions in support of campaigns, including Sales Area and Commercial Unit product launch strategies for their area. Required Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business, Marketing or related field. 5 years’ experience in Horticulture, Agronomy, or Agribusiness. Strong business & finance acumen. Experience in leading multi-functional teams. Strong Marketing background and focus on creating value for our customers. Understanding of market dynamics and competitive environment. Experience and knowledge of vegetable seed market, marketplace dynamics, competitive environments and customer needs. Excelling verbal and written communication skills.
