Job Posting: Sales Planner Responsibilities Develop seasonal sales, inventory, and receipt plans by Classification that align with assigned account financial targets and productivity metrics Build + maintain a rolling 18-month style-color sales, inventory, receipt and shipment plan for each area of business to support product selection in market Work autonomously with the account executive, replenishment managers, & with the assigned account buyers and planners. Meet weekly/monthly based upon business needs. Leverage weekly business insights to understand item level performance to maximize in season opportunities, minimize liability, and inform future seasons Analyze sales trends and adjust based upon historical results & current POS (point of sales) performance Prepare documents for monthly consensus meetings. Provide analysis and explanations of all recommended changes to sales, inventory, receipt and ship plans. Lead presentation & influence alignment amongst peers within merchandising, sales, & supply planning teams of monthly consensus meeting POS (point of sales) forecast changes and inventory strategies Participate in regular meetings and strategic discussions to provide input on merchandise planning strategies Standard and ad hoc reporting; administrative duties Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment, including time spent as an analyst or planner Related work experience which may include: Forecasting & Demand Planning Bachelor’s Degree Demonstrated retail math and business acumen, including sales forecasting and inventory productivity measures Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner Capable of creating alignment among cross-functional stakeholders by building strong business cases and driving execution Attention to detail and strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Advanced proficiency in Excel Knowledge of PowerBI & Logility RO Planning Applications is a plus Leadership Competencies Expected for this Role: Emerging Leader Global Agility – Open to diverse views, adapts to new ways of working Purposeful Integrity – Demonstrates ethical behavior, follows through on commitments Strategic Foresight – Understands team goals, asks strategic questions Customer Centric Innovation – Suggests improvements from customer feedback, tries new methods Urgency for Impact – Act quickly and take ownership of outcomes Bold Accountability – Own your work and deliver consistently strong results Empowered Collaboration – Share ideas, listens well, collaborates with peers #LI-Remote Why Kontoor Brands?
