Worldwide VA | Remote – South Africa
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm UK time
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years’ UK residential sales progression experience
About the Role
Worldwide VA is looking for an experienced and highly proactive Sales Progressor to join a UK-based estate agency remotely.
This is not a passive administration role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of residential sales from sale agreed through to exchange and completion, actively drive transactions forward and ensure all parties remain informed throughout the process.
The successful candidate will be confident on the telephone, highly organised and comfortable chasing solicitors, buyers, sellers, mortgage brokers and other agents to keep transactions moving.
Communication is a key part of this role. You should be comfortable having difficult conversations, identifying problems early and taking ownership of finding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- • Take ownership of residential sales from sale agreed through to exchange and completion.
- • Actively chase outstanding actions and keep transactions moving.
- • Manage and monitor property chains and identify potential delays or risks.
- • Communicate regularly with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and other estate agents.
- • Keep clients informed throughout the sales process.
- • Identify issues early and take proactive steps to resolve them.
- • Assist with adverse surveys, down-valuations, renegotiations and mortgage-related issues.
- • Handle difficult or sensitive conversations professionally.
- • Negotiate between relevant parties where appropriate.
- • Escalate issues when necessary and know when senior intervention is required.
- • Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records.
- • Record meaningful notes and ensure all follow-ups are completed.
- • Track key milestones including searches, surveys, mortgage progress, enquiries, exchange and completion.
- • Provide clear pipeline updates and highlight transactions that may be at risk.
- • Work closely with the internal team to ensure everyone has visibility of transaction progress.
- • Maintain a proactive and solutions-focused approach throughout the process.
What We're Looking For
You must have:
- • At least 2 years of UK residential sales progression experience.
- • Strong knowledge of the UK residential property sales process.
- • Experience managing property chains.
- • Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
- • Confidence dealing with solicitors, conveyancers, mortgage brokers, buyers, sellers and estate agents.
- • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- • The ability to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- • A proactive approach to chasing and progressing transactions.
- • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate transaction records.
- • The ability to work independently while remaining highly communicative with a remote team.
- • A professional and confident telephone manner.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership. If you identify a problem, we want you to look for a solution rather than simply report it.
Technical Requirements
As this is a fully remote position, you must have your own suitable working setup.
Minimum requirements:
- • Windows 11 PC
- • Intel i5 13th Gen or newer, or a modern equivalent processor
- • 16GB RAM minimum
- • 256GB SSD minimum; 512GB preferred
- • Functional webcam
- • Reliable noise-cancelling headset
- • Fibre internet connection
- • Minimum internet speed: 30 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload
- • Preferred internet speed: 50+ Mbps download / 35+ Mbps upload
- • Reliable backup power solution
- • Quiet and professional home working environment
Your internet connection must consistently meet the minimum requirements.
Candidates will be required to provide evidence of their PC specifications, internet package and internet speed during the screening process.
You will be working in a role where your property experience, communication skills and ability to drive transactions forward are central to the success of the position.
