Role Description The Sales Representative is a full-time hybrid role based in Slane, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this role, the individual will manage and grow relationships with retail and wholesale customers, present product ranges, and secure new sales opportunities. Daily responsibilities include maintaining regular contact with existing accounts, identifying and pursuing leads, preparing quotations, and following up to close deals. The Sales Representative will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves tracking sales performance, reporting on market trends, and representing the brand at meetings, trade events, and other promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles, ideally within consumer goods or cosmetics.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
• Comfort with using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic office software to track leads, sales activity, and performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a hybrid work environment.
• Interest in sustainable, ethical products and alignment with The Handmade Soap Company’s values and brand voice.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, events, and the Slane office as required.
  

Previous experience in retail, wholesale, or field sales is an advantage; formal education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
