The Opportunity

Join a globally recognised electrical solutions business with an established presence across more than 100 countries.

This is a hybrid, field-based role, with the flexibility to work from home while managing a territory covering south of the Swan River, including South Metro Perth and South West WA.

With Western Australia identified as a key growth market, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a well-established territory with strong existing customer relationships, while continuing to grow the brand's presence across the electrical wholesale and contractor market.

You'll step into a strong existing customer base across the wholesale channel, while also building relationships with electrical contractors and end users to generate demand and create further growth.

You'll be backed by the resources, training and reputation of a global organisation, while working within a collaborative and down-to-earth local team.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the WA State Manager, you'll manage customers across South Metro Perth and South West WA, covering the area south of the Swan River.

This is a hybrid WFH and field-based position, giving you the flexibility to work from home when you're not on the road meeting customers.

Your focus will be on developing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities and increasing product adoption across wholesalers and contractors.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing and growing an established portfolio of electrical wholesale customers
  • Strengthening existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand the territory
  • Developing strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors, installers and other industry stakeholders
  • Spending the majority of your customer-facing time in the field across your territory
  • Driving sales through a push-pull approach, supporting wholesalers while creating demand directly with contractors
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities across South Metro Perth and South West WA
  • Promoting a premium electrical product portfolio based on genuine product features, quality and value
  • Providing product advice and supporting customers with technical and commercial enquiries
  • Monitoring competitor activity, market trends and customer feedback
  • Working closely with internal sales, technical trainers and interstate colleagues
  • Managing your pipeline, CRM activity and territory performance against agreed targets

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships and taking ownership of a territory.

Electrical industry experience would be highly regarded, although candidates from adjacent technical, trade-related or distribution sales environments are also encouraged to apply.

Ideally, You Will Bring

  • Previous territory sales, account management or business development experience
  • Exposure to electrical wholesale, electrical distribution, trade products or a related technical market
  • Existing relationships within the WA electrical wholesale or contractor market would be highly advantageous
  • An electrical trade qualification or hands-on electrical industry background would also be highly regarded
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness across pricing, margins, sales targets and territory development
  • The ability to work independently and plan your own customer activity
  • Confidence using CRM systems and sales data to prioritise opportunities
  • A current Australian driver's licence

What Success Looks Like

WA is an important growth market for the business.

You'll work alongside the wider WA sales team to grow market share, strengthen relationships across the wholesale and contractor network and deliver sustainable territory growth, with an annual growth target of approximately 8%.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Hybrid WFH & Field-Based Role Enjoy the flexibility of working from home when you're not out meeting customers across your territory.
